Your first cut plan
Start with one material group, add the stock you actually have, then enter every required piece before comparing alternatives.
Set up a job
Create or open a job, confirm the active material group, then enter stock rows and required pieces. A plan stays stale after edits until you compare plans again, so the cut plan view never pretends an older result still matches your current inputs.
Compare plans
Compare Fastest, Balanced and Least scrap when they are feasible. Lower time, lower handling and lower scrap are better; applying one selects the plan for this job only and does not silently create inventory or billing side effects.
