Stock and compatibility groups
Material groups organise compatible stock and required pieces so only bars that can satisfy a group are planned together.
Compatibility groups
Compatibility groups define which stock rows belong together during planning. A planner row can be local-only sample stock, while governed inventory rows remain separate canonical records with their own availability and reservation rules.
Changing group
Switch the active group before editing stock or pieces for that material. Combined job results can span multiple compatible groups, but each group still keeps its own settings, feasibility and workshop follow-through.
