Each row records the finished piece demand, not a workshop shortcut. Quantity, finished length and end-treatment details all matter.
Piece fields
Required piece rows capture the quantity and finished design length you need. Labels and references help downstream review, but they do not change the optimiser accounting by themselves.
Copying rows
Duplicating a row should preserve the design intent you already entered so review stays quick. If the copy does not keep the expected data, treat that as a defect to review rather than a normal planning state.
